Chinese Champion in Weiqi Crowned

There are a lot of games like backgammon played all around the world, and Weiqi is one of them. Recently the 11th Samsung Cup World Open Weiqi Championship was held in Shanghai, and China's Chang Hao was crowned the champ. On January 24, 2007, Chang Hao beat South Korea's Lee Chang-Ho to become the new world champ of Weiqi. Weiqi developed in China thousands of years ago, and is called I-Go in English. It is unsure which game is the oldest, Weiqi or Backgammon.
