Santa Brings Backgammon to Kids

In Manassas, at a place called Maxwell's Restaurant and discotheque, Santa dropped by in the late morning to the delight of crowds of children packed into the place on Sunday morning. It was the day before Christmas, and for many of the children attending, Santa would be making his only stop for them today. The owner of Maxwell's, Juan Laguna, has been bringing Santa and his gifts to kids for 20 years, and among the gifts is always a backgammon set or two, given along with puzzles to help children develop mentally. This year some 1,500 gifts were given to the children.
