This is one of the strongest programs available for Mac, with nice graphics and a tutor to point out errors. Gnu Backgammon analyzes games and matches played online or against the computer. This software is recommended for serious players looking to improve their skills at strategy, as opposed to casual players looking to waste time at the computer playing something besides solitaire and mahjong.
